Dear Diary,
I had another strange dream last night - the strangest and most disturbing one
I've had since arriving on Seefra. I found myself in the corridor of the
Andromeda again (thankfully, I was fully clothed this time). At the end of the
corridor were the doors leading to the bridge. The Red Alert sirens were going
off, and I was trying to make my way to my battle station. But the more and more
I tried to get to those doors, the longer and longer the corridor became. I ran
and ran until I ran out of breath, but yet I still couldn't make it to those
doors.
In the distance I heard the sound of Magog behind me. I turned around and there
they were...dozens of them, headed right towards me. I turned and tried to run,
but my feet were stuck to the ground. I asked for a report, and Andromeda
alerted me that the gravity control was malfunctioning. I tried and tried to
move my feet, but it was no use. As the Magog got closer and closer, I could
feel my feet actually sinking into the floor.
I screamed for help, but nobody came. As the Magog surrounded me on all sides, I
looked up at one of them, and I couldn't believe my eyes....
It was a hideous creature with a Magog body, but instead of a Magog head, I saw
the face of my beloved Louisa that was taken from me on Arkology. She snarled at
me, bared her teeth, and bit into my arm. I literally felt the pain as her teeth
latched on to me. I screamed in horror, and woke up in a cold sweat.
As I regained cognizance, I discovered that my dog Louisa was gnawing on one of
my boneblades.
I think from now I'll let her sleep with Harper. After all, he has been begging
me to let him. For now, however, I've given her a piece of rawhide leather to
chew on, from one of my old pairs of boneblade coverings.
